Norfolk BAP habitats

Beehives in a Traditional Orchard (Photo - M Skipper)Norfolk has over half the total UK number of Priority BAP habitats; 24 Terrestrial and Freshwater habitats, 11 Marine habitats and 2 local priority habitats.  Key habitats include Coastal and Floodplain grazing marsh, Reedbed, Fen, Aquifer-fed naturally fluctuating waterbodies and Lowland Heathland.

18 of these National priority habitats have Habitat Action Plans: Norfolk Habitat Action Plans.
